Mei-Lin's Story:

Born into shadow, Victor was a child of the system. He never knew his parents, and the warmth of a loving family never chose him. His eyes, even as a boy, held a depth of loneliness that scared others away, a soul seemingly already too dark and isolated to save.
Only the crows ever welcomed his company. They gathered wherever he stood, their black feathers and sharp calls mirroring the brooding silence within him. It was no coincidence.
At the brutal threshold of his teenage years, the truth erupted. In a moment of rage and despair, Victor didn't just feel dark, he became it. Bone shifted, skin tore, and with a rush of midnight feathers, he discovered his terrifying birthright: he was a crow shape-shifter.
His soul is dark, yes, but it is not doomed. Victor found his purpose in the abandoned corners of the city, recognising the echoes of his own isolation in every discarded life.

 Now, soaring over the city's forgotten alleys, he is the silent protector of the lonely, the poor, and the ones left behind.

Victor is the darkness they shunned, now turned into the shield they need. He is the winged fury for those who have nowhere else to turn.
