When the bombs fell, Nnamdi was just a boy, small, lost, alone, holding a single seed in his hand. The city turned to dust around him, all concrete and echoes. But where others saw ruins, he saw soil.

The seed pulsed, and something ancient stirred inside him. His heartbeat synced with the earth. Cracks in the pavement opened, and roots pushed through the grey. Flowers burst from broken walls, trees reached for the sky.

Now, wherever Nnamdi walks, nature reclaims what was lost. He doesn't fight with fists or fire—he fights with growth. With green. With life.

This watercolour character was originally commissioned for Origin Story, a board game by Stonemaier Games, and is now part of my Supers in Watercolour collection.
